Million Dollar Blogs - 25 Blogs and the Insane Traffic They Get
Lately I’ve found myself obsessed with my Sitemeter stats for a blog I started not too long ago. I started noticing other popular blogs using the same free stat counter, many of them letting the public view the details of where their traffic is coming from. The traffic some of these blogs get is pretty amazing to say the least.
If you do this google search it should bring up a list of all or at least most of the sites in google that are using a sitemeter on their web site/blog. By adding other keywords such as “blog” or whatever you can narrow your results. I spent a couple hours searching around and compiled a list of 25 blogs with links to their realtime sitemeter stats. I think you’ll find it very interesting to take a peek at their traffic details.

Wow, that’s awesome traffic! that is not insane, if they are true and real. The stats of “DailyKos” is living up to its renowned reputation. Its a lesson and challenge for us starters that it is POSSIBLE!

with 8000-10000 hits per day, I’m pretty sure they don’t even come close to 1 million, more like 500 per month
I’m receiving around 2000-3000 unique hits per day now, and i’m FAR FAR away from getting that kind of money

If you have 8 to 10K hits a day you should be making good money (unless it is a myspace site) … there are sites with 5K a day that make 50K in one day… it is all about having the right target audience Even with crappy paying ads say .05 a click and you have 10K a day and lets say CTR of 5% equals 500 clicks which equals 25 a day which equals 750 a month…. but thats with min payout i mena if you get .30 a click thats 150 a day and 4,500 a month… it all depends on niche or category that you are in and the CPC you are receiving. the thing is if you are getting that traffic you could probably get mroe return from sales and CPA leads…

These guys must use those click exchange programs like blogclicker the help to an extent but not that much!!!!!!!!

The average visit time is very low. I found one of the blogs where the visitoris on average stayed only for two seconds.
